As part of my Habitats unit, I have tried to incorporate the Visual Ranking Tool as part of the introduction and conclusion of the unit.
I have decided to get students to rank the importance of the 7 habiatats that inhabit Earth and I would like them to prioritise their importnace for survival from both an animal and human perspective.

I am quite impressed with what this visual ranking tool can create in the class through discussions between pairs, small groups and whole groups of students. The incorporation of ICT is also an added benefit as it exposes students to higher thinking tools and processes.
